Sama organized a three day capacity building workshop on Violence as Public Health Issue in Delhi on 19- 21 December, 2011. The workshop discussed the linkages between GBV, health and the health system. It included discussions on the health consequences of violence and existing response by hospitals to survivors of gender based violence, and strategizing towards informing the response.
Representatives of community based organizations and networks, and health activists from Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan took part in the workshop.
