Sama is participating in the Achutha Menon Centre Public Health Conference (AMCCON) 2017 to be held in Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum on January 6-7, 2017. The theme of AMCCON 2017 is ‘Recent trends in public health research and practice’. Amrita and Kalyani from Sama will present on ‘Sexual and Reproductive Rights and Mental Well being: Narratives of Young Women from Rural India (2016)’ under the sub theme ‘Sexual and Reproductive Health’.
