Sama is participating in the 6th National Bioethics Conference (NBC) to be held in Pune during 13-15 January 2017. The conference theme is “Healing and dying with dignity: Ethical issues in palliative care, end-of-life care and euthanasia”. The plenary sessions at the NBC will focus on Palliative care, End-of-life care and Euthanasia. In Addition, the Conference also includes opportunities to discuss other issues pertaining to bioethics. N. Sarojini of Sama will be co-chairing the Plenary on “Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Matters of Justice and Equity” on the 13th January. Sama will also make a presentation on “Access to Medicines” as part of a panel on “Health System and Public Health Ethics: Drugs and Services” on the 14th January.
