A review of institutional responses to violence against women in India and United Kingdom was organized at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in July 2014. The symposium aimed at reviewing the current social, legal and policy context, and new initiatives and responses; and draw from the learnings from India and UK to set the larger agenda of scaling up efforts. Sama participated in the symposium which was attended by researchers, practitioners, activists and students from India and UK.
