The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been a lived reality for all of us. Over the last two and a half years, we witnessed unprecedented loss of lives, aggravated inequities and increased hardships for the marginalized communities not only because of the pandemic itself, but also due to spin-offs from the various responses to the pandemic.
During this period, Sama began to develop an intersectional feminist framework titled “The Unravelling Pandemic: Envisioning Our Intersectional Feminist Futures” to guide analysis and response to the current and future pandemics or public health emergencies.
Sama has prepared a handout, which provides a summary of the intersectional feminist framework, and is based on a video made with the same objective. The handout is available in five languages.
