Amplifying marginalised voices for the right to abortion
Sama has co-created a short video along with community health workers, health activists, women leaders from Chhattisgarh as well as from Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar.
The video provides a glimpse into the diverse, collective and creative efforts that have contributed to challenging the ground reality with regard to perspectives, information and health care access to safe abortion. The video attempts to capture the momentum through these varied efforts to potentially amplify marginalised voices on the right to abortion and claim access to safe and comprehensive abortion care within marginalised contexts.
The video has emerged from Sama’s initiatives over the past 18 months in Chhattisgarh as well as in other states. Please watch and share the video with your peers and networks.
