Sama has been engaging with community-based organisations and community leaders in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha to strengthen local capacities with an understanding of gender-based violence (GBV) as a public health concern and build towards seeking accountability of the health system.
To further this engagement, Sama will host a two-part webinar titled Survivor-Centric Approach in Addressing Gender-Based Violence during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
The first part, Principles of Survivor-Centric Approach in GBV Interventions, is scheduled for November 29, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The guest speaker for this session will be Sanjida Arora, who has been associated with CEHAT for the past seven years.
The subsequent part of the webinar on Laws Governing the Pathways of Support for GBV Survivors will be held on December 2, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shubhangi SIngh will be the speaker for this session.
