We are happy to present the report of the 2nd International consultation on “The feminist response to living through and beyond the Covid-19 pandemic” that was held on 23rd and 24th July 2021.
Our aim is to arrive at some sort of a collective understanding as feminists of how we move ahead to live with this pandemic and retain our strong belief that while life and health are important, without equality and justice, it is an imperfect world. This is an attempt to arrive at a feminist intersectional approach to interrogate and unpack pandemics, public health knowledge, care and technology, including access to diagnostic, vaccines, therapeutics.
We believe such a framework is critical in the present pandemic context as well as to imagine and explore our shared futures together.
